Strong pace as Ortus Glow pushes forward along with Tamamo Altair from an outside gate. JET SPEED (2) is rarely out of the money and has 11 wins to his name. Continued the positive trend last time out when he scored by 3 lengths over 1200m at this track. Goes well at this journey with six wins and eight placings from 17 starts and shapes as a key contender. KOTATSUDE MIKAN (10) has put together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on June 2 over 1200m when he got home by 2.5 lengths. Winning rider Shotaro Kawashima retains the mount. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. TAMAMO ALTAIR (11) finished sixth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a neck after being prominent at the corner over 800m at Urawa. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. COSMO EN EN (12) is a distance specialist who improved sharply last time out to score by one length over 1200m at this track a month ago. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
