Solid tempo anticipated with Lady Enfield and Mr Universe pressing forward with American Image not far away. GOLD AND GREY (9) missed by 1.9L at York first-up but ran up to that level again last start over 1400m on the Scarpside here last time out. Azzopardi now hops back on board and she looks to be building nicely in her second campaign. Can strike third-up. AMERICAN IMAGE (7) was super on debut but was just plain when straight out to 1400m last start on the Scarpside circuit. She'll be better for that run though and now Pike hops back on board after partnering her on debut. Ticks plenty of boxes and a much better run is on the cards. LORD MOMO (2) jumped favourite two back at Bunbury when racing over further, before coming back in trip last start and finishing behind American Image. Likely to be back in the run again, but some sting out of the ground may suit. Can improve. YOUANMI (4) is better than he showed last start and can't be discounted. MR UNIVERSE (3) can improve on the first-up effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gold And Grey can get the job done.
