Without a great deal of early pace evident Undisputed may lead the way over Megalomaniac. BETTY SPAGHETTI (1) was back in from when winning easily at Wingatui in her penultimate start, and then lacked a finish as the favourite last time out at Riccarton. She has a superior gate this time, and she has never missed a cheque in 5 starts here, including a couple of wins. Follow your money. LOMBARDI (2) ran a bottler fresh up off a long break when leading up and only weakening late for second at Riccarton in the same race as the top pick. He will be better for the run, and he can go one better. UNDISPUTED (7) has rushed through the grades this prep, winning all 3 starts, and now dropping 3kg in weight for her toughest test yet. She is up to the challenge, and she can win again. ROYAL VALOUR (4) is having a good season, and he returns to his favourite track and trip here. Each-way all day. LORD DARCI (5) was much improved when finishing fourth in a similar field at Riccarton 12 days ago. He is one to include in all combos at some nice value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Betty Spaghetti will be hard to beat in this.
