Genuine tempo from El Ultimo leading Roca Mile. TAVI ANN (4) has looked a lot better in her 2 most recent starts, hitting the line late on both occasions. She is likely to settle near the rear, and if the tempo is genuine, then she can definitely have the last say in this field. FLAMBOYANCE (1) has been desperately unlucky not to have won either of his last 2 starts, and from a good draw on this track, he can set the record straight. Hard to beat. ROCA MILE (3) has been holding his form, and he is strong enough now to cope with some wetter tracks. He benefits from a 2kg claim and has won on this track in the past. Each-way all day. EL ULTIMO (2) has raced his way back into form with a last start third at Oamaru just over 2 weeks ago. He maps to settle handy early on, and he can figure in the finish again.
