Plenty of pace evident with Morf and Buderim leading the way from True Fiction and Toronado Rocket. TRUE FICTION (1) has been superb this time in, missing by 1.8L over 1400m at Northam last time out. Harvey now hops on board as the stable's strike jockey, replacing the apprentice. Can roll forward coming back to 1200m and he can put his best foot forward. TORONADO ROCKET (5) wasn't beaten far two back before a 3.7L defeat on the Scarpside here most recently. Pike now hops on board and he has guided him to victory previously. A good draw today should see him prominent throughout and a forward showing is expected. BUDERIM (7) created plenty of interest first-up. He bolted in at the end of last campaign and his trial coming in this time suggests it wasn't a fluke. Can pick up from where he left off last campaign. MORF (3) was just plain first-up without a trial. Can turn in an improved effort this time. UNCLE GERARD (6) is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: True Fiction can get back to winning ways.
