Dropped in trip with a gritty on-pace second over 1450m at Illawarra Grange in a Super Maiden. Maps well again and can get the job done. MASTER OF WAR (3) nine-start Maiden who finds a winnable contest. Kept fresh after he jumped in trip for a tenacious on-pace second over 1800m at this track. Best figures measure up and proven in the conditions. RUSKANA (4) finally lived up to expectations third-up when he gripped on late to secure third in the small field over this trip at Gosford. Will push forward and give plenty of cheek. COOL RUPERT (1) steps up to the 1600m for the first time with the blinkers coming off and the winkers going on. Just over three weeks between runs with a struggling seventh over 1400m at Randwick Kensington. Adept in all conditions and stays in the mix.
