Opened with a fifth here two starts back then scored by a neck last time out over 1800m at this track. The engagement of Genta Ochiai is noteworthy. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. BREAKIN' AWAY (10) was in a different class last time, registering a dominant 2-length win over 1700m at this track to make it two on the bounce. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will play a major role. HO O EARNEST (8) is resuming from a spell of 11 months and having his first run for the Hiroyuki Oguni yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Tokyo over 2400m. Sure to make his presence felt. UNICORN WHALE (3) ran a better race last start, finishing 3.5 lengths away in fourth over 1200m at this track. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
