SAF - FAIRVIEW   18 Apr 2025

GOING: GS

EAST CAPE NURSERY 1200m

Track: SOFT   Clouds (Max: 24)

Plenty of speed with Direct Hit, Hot Sauce and Silva City leading Instaworthy and King Prawn. DIRECT HIT (5) followed up her impressive debut win with an equally impressive victory at Kenilworth last start. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She is the class horse in this field and she should keep her unbeaten record intact. FIERY COUNTESS (6) found one too good last start when finishing second of eight. Well placed in this line-up to go one better. HOT SAUCE (7) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 1200m at this track five weeks ago. Promising type who can go back-to-back. INSTAWORTHY (8) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a third over 1200m at this track when she was prominent throughout. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to take this out.

Second-up 9th of 12 at this track on March 14 over 1200m, 21 len behind Hot Sauce carrying 60kg at $76. Recent form suggests this might be a bit too tough.
