Pace is sure to be keen from Run Away Renee and Enterprise Phoenix striding forward, along with Snakeskin. BOLD TYRANT (2) showed a good turn of foot on a heavy track when scoring by half-a-length at Grafton 3 weeks ago. He is a lot stronger this year and with only half a kilo more to carry, he can win again, especially if the track is wet. RUN AWAY RENEE (10) has been thereabouts in 6 starts since winning on debut. She was only claimed in the final stride at Townsville 16 days ago, and she tries the mile for the first time. Expect her to be hard to run down again. PHANTOM FLIGHT (1) dug deep when finishing second here last start and is sliding down in class here. A 3kg claim will help reduce his top weight, and he will be hard to hold out again. SNAKESKIN (11) has not had much go his way in 3 starts this prep. He cops a wide gate but has Ash Butler in the saddle this time. He might not win often, but he can figure in the top 3 here. KAIWI (4) is heading the right way and has trekked some way to be here. Don't underestimate her chances. Include in all multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Snakeskin each way.
