GOING: G

bet365 Country Discovery 1000m

Track: Good 4   Clouds (Max: 30)   Rail: True Entire Circuit.

Lots of speed predominantly from Midwest, Shirshov and Romantic Choice. Open race for the day's feature. MIDWEST (7) was well ridden to score at Flemington two back but posted a good number in doing so, trying hard again last time in the Bob Hoysted. He'll fly along in front and that could really suit this circuit. JOYFUL FORTUNE (2) won the Hoysted at a big price, too big in hindsight given his Flemington record. Back in form, he'll cross up and prove hard to beat again. REY MAGNERIO (1) has been tackling some of the top liners this time in. 1000m may be a bit sharp but if he can stay in touch early he'll be charging over the top. Big watch on GOLDEN MONKEY (3) who comes over from Singapore. He's been mixing it with the best horses there. This may be a bit sharp, watch the betting. OAK HILL (9) is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Midwest.
