Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Hollywood Park. HOLLYWOOD PARK (5) finished third over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt at her most recent appearance on November 3. Usually needs a run before she finds form but in this modest affair she looks a strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. ROUGE KLEID (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in 11th over 2600m at Kokura. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. ARISTOCRACIA (8) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when sixth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Likely improver with strong prospects against this lot. PROVEN WINNER (1) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on 21 December, finishing sixth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. On the best form makes plenty of appeal.
