TAB SEA COTTAGE STAKES 1800m

Track: GOOD   Clear (Max: 16)    

Strong tempo early from Biofarmer booting up on the rail, joined by Hotarubi and Presley spearing over. HOTARUBI (1) is better than his last start in Grade 1 company. He ran a good race when second in the Grade 2 TAB Colorado King Stakes in his penultimate run. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most. JORDAN (4) did not fire in Grade 3 company last time out and after the race, his jockey said he felt uncomfortable in his action. He has finished second in both his efforts on this course. He is worth another chance in this. GREETING MY MASTER (5) should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was blocked for running room between the 300m mark and 200m mark. Gavin Lerena sticks with him and with luck in running, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. JURY'S OUT (6) was runner-up last time out and is Candice Dawsons' only runner at this meeting. He has a good draw and can't be ruled out of winning this.
