Hollywoodbets BRIGHT FUTURE MAIDEN PLATE 1600m Track: GOOD Clouds (Max: 32) |
||||
---|---|---|---|---|
Plenty of pace with Dubbelosix, Happy Days and Garden Sun all pushing forward from their low draws. DUBBELOSIX (1) showed good improvement when fourth over 1400m on this course last time. He is coming along the right way and from pole position, he may be the one to side with. JOUEUR DE FLUTE (7) set the pace over 1400m last time and stayed on well to finish third. He tries 1600m and if suited to the extra distance on offer, he may be hard to peg back. MARINE MERCHANT (13) produced a promising debut effort over 1250m on this course last start when finishing third of 10. It must be noted that the winner of that race has come out and won again since. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should be figuring in the finish. HAPPY DAYS (3) is better than his last start run for sixth would suggest. His penultimate run when second with the blinkers fitted catches the eye. With Richard Fourie in the saddle has winning claims.
