Plenty of early pace from Sonic Cry and Starsheena, with the added uncertainty surrounding the strong representation of first starters engaged. SWEET CHARLIE (6) showed plenty in Victoria early doors and presents third-up today ready to show more. Maps well and the first-time blinkers are applied. Some trust is required but this isn't strong. GUTBUSTER (2) improved again missing a whisker at Leeton. Races forward and the in-form Billy Owen is a positive jockey booking. Peaks and has claims. STARSHEENA (10) is third-up and building nicely. She prefers to run along and is sure to give a sight. SNITZ AND STRAAND (12) debuts and has switched from a top Sydney yard. Krogh rides and the speed-bred filly is a betting watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sweet Charlie on top.
