From wide out Fearless Warrior, My Determination and Southern Speed will surge forward and set up a solid tempo. SALAMENCE (13) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when half a length away in second over 1400m at this track. Tackling a deep race but he is good enough to figure in the finish. FEARLESS WARRIOR (8) turned things around last start and scored by half a length after being prominent at the corner over 1400m at this track. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. STAR NORTH (3) turned in a solid run last time when boxing on to finish second on the all-weather. Extra journey a plus now and may pay to follow up. MY DETERMINATION (10) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish a long neck away in third at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves his chance.
