Tricky one to map with a large contingent of unraced runners but over this trip there is certain to be plenty of early pressure. SPECIAL GLAMOUR (9) produced an encouraging debut effort over 1400m on this course. She raced green but stayed on nicely at the finish. With the natural improvement that is expected, she can win a race of this nature. BEACH QUEEN (3) is a well-bred daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Justin Snaith stable and Grant van Niekerk is in the saddle. If not too green, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances. CHAMPAGNE KISSES (8) was well fancied on the back of some solid performances but ran below expectations last time out when finishing fifth over 1400m at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be competitive. OCOTILLO (7) is appearing for the first time. By Querari and comes from the Eric Sands stable. Rates well as a top-three chance.
