A keen early battle to ensue between Vip Jesse, Dover Bright and Haruno Arashi from Taisei Frank. ROCK WITH YOU (3) will find this a little easier than his third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 3 lengths at the end of 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Drawn well close to the inside so he is worth following up. DOVER BRIGHT (10) is a two-start maiden who looks close to a win after placing at both runs, the latest when third over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt. Should park just off the speed. Will play a major role. SUNRISE FUGA (11) ran a much better race at his second outing last start to finish third over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. HARUNO ARASHI (12) resumes from a spell of ten weeks. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1200m at this track. Has ability so don't underestimate.
