A solid tempo anticipated with Sneaky Pineapple and Two Cubed engaging in an early battle ahead of Djawara and Coffin Dodger. TWO CUBED (12) was respectable on debut in a strong maiden at the Warrnambool Carnival then only found one better first-up this time in, when beaten less than a length. Will be better for that and is drawn to be the testing material. COFFIN DODGER (2) wins the award for the best-named horse at the meeting - by Sidestep out of Heaven - and has run well at all four starts, sometimes in better races than this. Should derive benefit from the first-up run and looks beautifully drawn in gate 4. CALUSA'S FURY (8) savaged the line in a recent Burrumbeet jumpout in a performance that should have him competitive here. LEFT ON READ (9) wasn't beaten far on debut and has to be better for the experience. ARC DE PUISSANCE (1) was tried out over further last prep but did run his only placing first-up last campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Two Cubed to win.
