STORM VANGUARD (4) finished sixth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this thin race. GLINT RITTER (3) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing tenth over 1150m at Fukushima Dirt three-and-a-half months ago which was the only run of that prep. Goes well when fresh including a win and one minor placing. Rates highly and expected to go well. HERMES (10) is first-up since finishing tenth over 1000m at Niigata five months ago. Has a high cruising speed. One to consider. GLOBE FAME (8) was responsible for a better run last start at the second run of the campaign, beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Well placed to turn things around.
