Pressure should be on from the outset with a few pacey runners in the big field. WILD APPLAUSE (8) produced a promising debut effort to finish second over 1250m on this course. She raced from just off the pace and stayed on well at the finish. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She will like the rise to 1400m and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating. TUSCAN ROMANCE (14) has finished second in her three efforts to date. She was caught late over this course and distance last time. She would have come on from that outing and should strip much fitter. BERRY'S BOOGIE (5) stayed on well when second on debut over 1250m on this course. She will enjoy the extra distance on offer and should make the natural progression from her handy draw of five. DOUBLE DASH (2) finished third last time over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten one length. Ready to go a couple better.
