BIG CAESAR (14) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1200m in the G3 Keeneland Cup at Sapporo but wasn't all that far from the winner. Should park just off the speed. Leading contender. GRAND EST (6) led for home and battled on strongly for third last start in the G3 CBC Sho at Chukyo over 1200m, beaten 1.1 lengths. That run should have her rock-hard fit now. Distance specialist who is a key runner. JUSTIN SKY (9) missed the placings first-up recently but was not too far from the winner when fifth over 1200m in the G3 CBC Sho at Chukyo. Has an excellent second-up record. Among the winning hopes. NANAO (7) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 3 lengths away in sixth over 1200m in the G3 Kitakyushu Kinen at Kokura on June 30. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Must be respected.
