Expecting a strong pace headed by Smart Charis, Toa Raiden and Vagary Lotus. MARCHA REAL (6) is a promising galloper who resumes from a break. Last raced when second over 1800m at Niigata Dirt ten weeks ago which was the only run of that prep. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Sure to be in the finish. LIMIT BUSTER (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in 11th over 2000m at Sapporo. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. WONDERFUL TODAY (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 24 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has the ability to take this out. SMART VICTOR (1) returns from a layoff of six months. Filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1800m at this track. Definite top-three chance.
