Good early pace headed by Green Star, Smart One and Lim's Everest, with Super Bowl and Rook's Gambit in their slipstream. SUPER BOWL (3) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten one length, over 1700m on the all-weather. Racing well without winning and looks hard to beat in this suitable race. ROOK'S GAMBIT (14) did a good job last time, battling on gamely for a close third over 1600m at this track. In form and looks a genuine threat. GREEN STAR (2) settled well back then made a little ground and finished 7 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1200m on the all-weather three weeks ago. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Winning claims on best figures. FLYING FIGHTER (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1100m on the all-weather, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. The engagement of Manoel Nunes is a positive move. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
