Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1000m at this track. One of the genuine hopes in the race. IKOSAN (4) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on July 7, finishing sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1200m at Kokura. Usually comes to hand quickly so expect a bold showing. BOILER MAKER (2) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance ten weeks ago over 1200m at Monbetsu. Sure to make his presence felt. CHICA POCO (13) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths, last start over 1200m at Chukyo. Has ability and can figure.
