GRINS (8) went back from the outside draw on resumption with an ordinary ninth over 1100m at Mudgee. Senior rider hops aboard from the draw and can stalk the speed. Stays in the mix. STAFFA (6) produced another moderate effort last start when 3 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1200m at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
