Only a small field but Enchanting Choice, Splicethemainbrace and Avernian Goddess will ensure a genuine tempo. The Greeff stable look to have a stranglehold on this. SPLICETHEMAINBRACE (1) defied a lack of market support last start, scoring by 4.5 lengths over 1600m at this track. Form here at this journey is very good with two wins from four runs. Has won two of three this time in and is sure to run well. ENCHANTING CHOICE (2) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 0.6 lengths from the winner in third over 1600m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. EPIKLEROS (3) turned in a fine effort to win by a nose at today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. AVERNIAN GODDESS (4) improved sharply last time out to score by 2.5 lengths over 1400m at Fairview All Weather three weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
