A solid tempo on the cards with Onimaru leading the way. ONIMARU (5) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by one length last time out over 1400m at this track. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. CHUWANO KISEKI (2) has strung together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on February 16 over 1600m when he scored by 3 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. STANLEY (3) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1600m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. HIFUMI BANDAM (8) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by one length over 1400m here last time. Has a solid record at this circuit. Not to be discounted.
