Star Grip and Gentle Touch to set a strong tempo joined by Gentle Touch pushing on. BANNERMAN TESORO (7) made progress last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1500m at Urawa. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. STAR GRIP (3) had been in top form landing three consecutive wins but last start was just edged out when runner-up over 1400m at this track. This looks a winnable race. GENTLE TOUCH (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Funabashi. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 1800m at Funabashi, beaten 6 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. DREAM JAPAN (13) returns after a spell of nine weeks. Looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
