Genuine tempo with Eye For An Eye and Sumo Sandy up front. BAYOU MUSIC (12) presents third up having contested some handy races in his time. He got home well fresh here over 1400m, good again when given too much to do at Caulfield up to 1800m last start. A mile third up on the big track looks a nice spot for him. JARETH (6) ran a very good race first up at Cranbourne over this distance, sent out $3.20 there and finding the line well behind Astral Flame, who has won in Saturday grade since. Fitter now and will be charging home out wide. OROVERO (9) has placed in both runs back from a spell, just finding an in form Mometz a shade too strong at Caulfield Heath last start. He maps ideally and will take catching. SUMO SANDY (10) is racing consistently, just run down late his past couple. He'll be in this for a long way again. FACTCHECK (8) made good improvement second up with a smart win here as favourite and 1600m will only suit better. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bayou Music to win.
