Strong tempo assured with Field Of Praise and Belyaev leading the way over Straya Pride. SAN LUCIDO (2) makes the move to the Terry Gillett stable after ending his time in South Australia on a disappointing note. His best form stacks right up here and being only 69 days between runs suggests he's remained in work the whole time. Draws the inside here with a bunch of gear changes and he can return on a winning note. STRAYA PRIDE (3) couldn't handle the step out to 1300m last start where he faded badly, beaten a long way. His effort here two back as fav was very good when leading and Todd hops back on board now. Can roll forward and prove tough to run down. FIELD OF PRAISE (4) was just 0.7L off the winner here last time out and now gets Davis taking over from the apprentice hoop. Drawn well and can give a sight from up on the speed. MIAMI BABY (1) won't be far away. BELYAEV (5) rounds out the field. SUGGESTED PLAY: San Lucido makes the most appeal.
