They should roll along at a decent clip. MAC HARDY (8) made significant late ground last start to get up for second over 1400m at this track. Winning rider Tristan Godden sticks. Should be hard to stop. PONGOLA (6) was prominent from the outset when third over 1600m at this track last time out. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Best figures should see him run well. GORGEOUS DUDE (2) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then scored by half a length last time out over 1400m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. FIREBURST (7) was well fancied on the back of a couple of minor placings but could only manage eighth last start over 1600m at Scottsville. Worth noting K Matsunyane is the change of rider. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Not to be discounted.
