Just a moderate tempo given the absence of pacy gallopers. BONNY ROCK (10) has found it hard to win another race and was sixth at Pinjarra-Scarpside just over 2 weeks ago. She is nicely placed here after a 4kg claim, and with only 50kg on her back, she can break her win drought, especially in this more suitable company. RULING DAME (8) can't be faulted for her consistency. She was third as favourite here 13 days ago and steps up to 1400m. Another honest effort can be expected. RYEWOOD (1) has her share of talent and is resuming from a spell with a home track advantage. She will want more ground, but is fresh and should be running on strongly. Include in all combinations. PRIZED JEWEL (5) can mix her form, but did the job easily here last time out. Stick with her. Each way. ONEMOREFORLEO (2) saves his best for this track and ended his last prep with a nose win in a 4-horse field here last spring.
