Eternal Lies can work over from a wide alley to lead. TAMAKAZURA (14) has been in the placings three times from three starts in this maiden campaign, the latest as favourite over 1200m at Kokura when half a length from the winner. Jumps from a wide gate but looks the testing material. AYRTON BAROWS (2) started at $2.70 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 5.5 lengths at Kokura over 1200m. Finds a nice race and can make amends. KARANDASH (4) has been in the betting recently but hasn't managed to break through. Most recently finished 16th over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Better than that and worth including. ETERNAL LIES (11) is back from a spell of three months. Closed last prep with a 16th, beaten 11 lengths, over 1600m at Nakayama. Can return with a better performance.
