Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Ready And Betta, Saraqael and Hi Frank prominent. SARAQAEL (1) is unbeaten in 3 starts and dug deep to score here by nearly a length 18 days ago. He is facing his toughest test to date, but drops 2.5kg in weight and deserves his chance at some nice prize money. SWEET PRETENDER (7) made up a lot of late ground when finishing second on debut at Toowoomba just over a fortnight ago. He will improve naturally with the experience, and can go one better. POWER CHIC (8) was a length behind the top pick last time out and would not mind a wet track. She is a tough filly who can figure in the top 3 again. CAT CALL (3) fought on gamely to finish runner-up on the Gold Coast poly track 2 weeks ago. His astute trainer, Gary Doughty, seldom treks to this track unless his charges have a big winning chance. Ryan Wiggins steps into the irons, and the pair can take this out. HI FRANK (2) was a soft winner by over 5 lengths at Mackay on a heavy track last start. With similar track conditions, he is a threat again. Stick with him on an each-way basis. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cat Call each-way.
