SOMETHING ROYAL (2) has been too slick for her rivals in her last couple of starts and has been a late scratching since her last start at Pinjarra nearly 4 weeks ago. Chanel Cooper keeps the ride and takes 2kg of her back this time. 1100m is as far as she wants, but she will still be hard to peg back. AMERICAN THIGHS (4) set the pace here fresh up nearly 2 weeks ago and only faded out of it inside the distance. She showed a lot of talent last year and needed her most recent run, after returning from a long spell. Her only win has come second up, and she is good enough to take this out. Follow your money. SCIENCE DEGREE (1) raced well enough after winning his maiden here last October. He will be even stronger this year and did look ready to rumble when winning a recent trial on the track earlier in the month. Watch closely. Each way.
