Pod Volk, Rhino and Gylfi will not hold back as they vie for the lead from Meisho Soseki and Tagano Makasih Ya. GYLFI (11) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 1800m at this track three weeks ago, settling just off the speed then letting down impressively in the run home. Promising type who can measure up again. RHINO (2) has not been sighted since he scored over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt on January 26. Well placed and should be tough to beat. HIRUNO HAMBURG (4) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in the tougher Kisaragi Sho (NHK Sho) won by Satono Shining over 1800m at Kyoto, beaten 9 lengths into seventh. Big chance back in this class. TAGANO MAKASIH YA (1) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was in contention on the corner before being beaten 8 lengths into fourth over 1800m at this track. Strips fitter and can feature in the finish.
