He should enjoy the step up in distance and is one of the leading contenders. ROYAL EDITION (7) tried hard when second over 1800m on this course last time. If repeating that effort in this type of field, he should be hard to peg back. RADICCHIO (2) finished not far behind the third selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today, and there should not be much separating them at the finish. Two of his eight career victories have come over this distance.
