Pace on from the outset with Kris Return, Kinoto Queen and Talus going forward ahead of Chemin De Roi and Heart Leap. CHEMIN DE ROI (8) is a distance specialist who missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1500m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. TALUS (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Sonoda, beaten 8 lengths into sixth after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. KRIS RETURN (5) improved sharply on his sixth two starts back at this track with a win as public elect over 1500m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. MARBLE MIMI (7) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 1500m at this track. Capable of featuring prominently.
