GHALIB (2) returned to the winner's list at his most recent appearance, getting home by 1.5 lengths over 1400m at this track beating all of today's key rivals. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with seven wins and two minor placings from 12 starts. Leading player again. Singapore Derby winner GOLDEN MONKEY (1) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths away in second to Ghalib over 1400m at this track when he was always up in the leading division. The logical danger. SO HI CLASS (5) registered a strong win at this track two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when prominent at the turn before finishing third to Ghalib over 1400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Sure to be thereabouts again. GENERAL COMMAND (4) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 6.8 lengths by Ghalib. Strips fitter and can feature in the finish.
