Good pace from Copper Mist, Full Go and Gamer and they'll have company. CARNELO (6) set the pace over 1600m on the Inside course last time before getting outrun late. He has placed twice from as many starts here over this trip and is likely to race on the speed. If he gets a soft run early, he could take them all the way. OMBUDSMAN (2) tried hard when second over 1600m last time. He is in a good space, and with Piere Strydom retaining the ride, he can go one better. GAMER (8) has consistent form lines to his name. He took on slightly stronger in his last start over this distance on the Inside course, and he cannot be ignored. HUEHUETENANGO (3) won a good race when shedding his maiden tag over this distance on the Inside course last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He has the scope to go right on with the job.
