Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. MOCKRIDGE (6) did little on debut when a big drifter but was put away after that and has trialled solidly in preparation for the return. Won a trial and jumped out neatly since. BALLISTIC BLUE (4) looked good on-speed in a recent jumpout at Caulfield's Heath track, as did FINANCE SHOGUN (1) in a recent Cranbourne jumpout win. Struggling for recent form to work with. STRUM (3) was getting closer to the mark when we last saw him. Blinkers went on in a recent jump out and he improved again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mockridge goes on top off a nice recent jump out.
