Strong tempo, primarily from Pod Loire and Emergence. EMERGENCE (7) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt after being in contention on the bend. Lightly raced colt with plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely placed to take this out. VIDE (2) is yet to break through but has been in the money three times including last start when second over 1800m at this track. Should settle handy in the run and looks right in this. PROFETA (12) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth over 1800m at this track five weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. POD LOIRE (8) returns after nine weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 2400m at Tokyo. Has ability and is worth including.
