Expecting Lucky I Am to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. LUCKY I AM (7) just missed first-up and again bumped into one better last start on the Scarpside, beaten 0.7L when favourite. Steve Parnham rides now in a good push for his chances and the Bubble Cheeker should help him. Looks well placed in this event and can go one better this time around. HAIDA GWAII (9) was solid in her debut campaign and was tested in stronger company than this at the end of last campaign. She's been very impressive at the trials in readiness for this and Brad Parnham sticks from the recent outing. Can put his best foot forward. ROYAL DEFENSE (2) comes across from country NSW, but he's trialled well in readiness for his WA debut and he can go close off an inside barrier. GREY REVOLUTION (5) has claims third-up into the campaign with a senior jockey hopping on board. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lucky I Am finds the right race.
