Keen tempo with Leo Premiere and Philautia prominent. SORRENTO FLAVOR (12) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.8 lengths adrift in third over 1200m at Chukyo when fresh from a spell. Has a decent record at this trip with four minor placings from six tries and will play a prominent role. AINO SENSHI (4) finished second over 1200m at Nakayama at his most recent appearance on September 15. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. EXTRA BUCK (7) returns from a spell of three months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 12th over 1400m at Chukyo. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One to consider. KAFUJI CHIACCHIERE (9) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on 15 December, finishing 16th over 1600m at Chukyo. Settles back early but winds up late. Capable of a top four finish.
