Slick pace with Dateno Shogun finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. REBAKE FULL CITY (8) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 1800m here five weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. DATENO SHOGUN (4) returned from a break with a win by 0.8 lengths over 1800m at this circuit making it eight straight. Kept fresh for this and looks the testing material again. KINGSTON BOY (2) is back from a spell after closing last campaign with a couple of wins, the latest over 1800m at Funabashi on January 23. Has claims on his form from last campaign. MOUEIX (7) turned in a solid run last time when boxing on to finish second at Funabashi. Boasts three wins at the distance and is among the each-way hopes.
