Genuine tempo with the speedy Tango Noir leading the way. TANGO NOIR (4) resumes from a spell of three months and comes here off the back of three straight wins. Same winning combination as last time and can measure up again. MARUKAN LANI (12) finished second behind Golden Buzzer at this track over this distance when fresh from a break last time out. Has a strong record this course, scoring at seven of 13 starts and must be respected. SAYONO TRADER (6) got home by 2.5 lengths last time out over 1800m here. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Can measure up again. POND BOY (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 2000m at this venue, beaten 9 lengths. Has his share of talent and should prove hard to beat in this suitable race.
