Expecting Otahuhu to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. TALING PLING (10) performed above expectations last time over 1200m at this track, finishing 0.6 lengths from the winner in third at huge odds. Ready to peak after three runs back from a spell and is the one they have to beat. STRIKE GOLD (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m on turf, beaten just half a length into fifth. Worth noting Bruno Viana Queiroz goes aboard. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SACRED BUDDY (8) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1100m at this track and proved too strong, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the winning hopes again. FILIAL DRAGON (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 0.8 lengths from the winner at the end of 1100m. Nicely placed to run well again.
