No recognised leader on paper but Nitto Mizuna has the pace to take it up despite a wide gate. MO MO BLUE (6) is a 11-start maiden who filled a minor placing at Nagoya at the last run before spelling. Expect he has come on over the break. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. NITTO MIZUNA (10) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at her latest appearance over 1000m at this track. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. SCHON NOVA (11) resumes from a spell of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1000m at this track. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. WOLFRAM (9) is on debut. By Henny Hughes and hails from the Fuyuki Igarashi stable. Worth watching for a betting push.
