Solid tempo expected primarily from Caldwell and Lady On Stage. LADY ON STAGE (1) is still a maiden after five runs. Was popular in betting last time out but after being prominent at the bend didn't live up to market expectations, finishing sixth over 1600m at Chukyo. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. CALDWELL (13) returned from a spell six weeks ago when she was in contention on the corner before being beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 1800m at Hanshin. Strips fitter and can find the winner's circle. MEISHO UMEGOCHI (10) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt when second, beaten 2 lengths. Promising type with improvement to come so she is a strong chance. WOLKENMEER (4) is a five-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 6 lengths when fourth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Definite top-three hope with that run under the belt.
