Expecting Paballo to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. PABALLO (14) should have won his last start when finishing runner-up at Gympie a week ago over 1470m. He has winning form on this circuit and can cope with any track conditions. He is ready to go one better. SADDLE BOY (5) was a beat favourite at a recent Dalby picnic meeting 3 weeks ago when getting late clear and running on into sixth. He has 3kg less to carry this time and is capable of a top 3 finish. MR POLAR (9) was less than a length from the winner when third at the Sunshine Coast last time out. He is generally very competitive at this level, and another honest effort can be expected. LION'S PRIDE (4) will be peaking third up from a spell and will notice the drop down in class here. He has a good draw and is ready to put his best hoof forward. HE'S A DEVIL (12) was close up when third at Dalby when resuming from a spell. He has not missed a cheque in 4 starts on this circuit, including 2 wins. He strips fitter and will be hard to hold out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Paballo to win.
